1. In the "If I Became a Teen Parent" assignment, did the response you received from your parent/guardian surprise you?
Overall, I don't think that the response from my mom surprised me very much. My mom has always made it clear that she will be there for me and support my decisions in almost every aspect of my life. She may not always agree with them but she will never let me fall completely.
2. What responses to the flour baby project surprised you?
The flour baby project hasn't surprised me all that much. I think it is because I often take the foster babies out, so I am used to taking care of kids and the reactions that I receive from people.
3. In what ways should we have started this project differently?
I think that this project should start in a similar way. People seem to be motivated and working. It seems to be giving people the general idea of how difficult it is to carry something with you all of the time, but as for how to start the project, I think that it started perfectly fine.
4. What was the most surprising about the "Baby Costs" project?
At this point, I have not finished the baby costs project, but being a member of a foster family and a member of a large family, Ive grown up with a lot of kids. These kids have given me insight on how much having kids cost. The price of hospitals and stuff is extremely expensive and things like formula and diapers are ridiculous. I went to the store the other day and it was approximately 153 dollars just for nine cans of formula. Having a child is an extreme financial burden on anyone, so you have to consider the pros and cons carefully.
